Scott Malo’s journey as a filmmaker began in 2002, an agency creative crafting work for global brands including Apple, Luxottica, Nissan, Infiniti, adidas, L’Oreal, Bombardier, USAA and United Nations.
His experiences as a Director of Photography has given him great insight into the power of creative expression, shaping his sensibility as a storyteller and filmmaker. Scott’s desire to constantly evolve as a director and master the craft of filmmaking prompted his transition into commercials.
Three years into his commercial film career he has directed successful campaigns for Travel Alberta, BMW, Merrell, Lexus and MARK’s. Each of these projects showcase his talent in moving fluidly between brands, genres and narrative styles.
